Joining StikiNotes / Signing in
How do I sign-in?
It couldn’t be easier. Just click ‘Sign Up’ and enter your brief details, choose a password and that’s it. You can then add your first Stikinote and that will be attached to your account. Then start inviting your friends.
How do I invite friends?
Stikinotes lets you invite your friends so that you can share your notes and create a bigger and more exciting experience. You can either enter their email address within your 'Buddies and Groups' page (see 'Invite Friends to Stikinotes') or use the 'Invite Facebook Friends' button to link to friends within your Facebook account.
I'm having problems signing in
If you are having problems signing in and have tried to have you password sent to your email but still cant log in. Please report your problem to feedback@stikinotes.com and we will try and resolve your issue as soon as possible.
I've forgotten my password
Click the ‘Log In’ button in the top right of the website and then click the ‘Oops I’ve forgotten it’ link, which is underneath the Password box. A new password will then be sent directly to your email. As soon as you receive that new password, go back into the ‘log in’ screen on Stikinotes.com and log-in with your email and the new password. This password will be a sequence of letters and numbers and so you will want to change it to a password that is easy to remember so......as soon as you have logged in to Stikinotes.com, go to ‘My Profile’ on the right of the screen and select ‘Settings’ from the drop down box. In the password box, enter the new password you have just been sent and then underneath type in the new password you want and then confirm that new password again underneath. Then click the ‘tick’ to save and your password will be changed.

What if there is no Visitors Book on a location.
If there is no Visitors Book on a location, then the first Stikinote will create one for that place or venue and the person that left that first Stikinote will be known as the ‘Founder of that Visitors Book’
I own a location, how do I claim my Visitors Book?
When the first Stikinote is left at a location, it creates a 'Visitors Book'. If that Visitors Book is ‘your business’ in that you either own it, or manage it or act for the owners/leaseholders, then click the ‘Claim this Visitors Book’ advert on the bottom of the screen under the Visitors Book. You will then be taken through to the Visitors Book registration form, which when completed with generate an email confirmation. Click on the link in the confirmation email and you will activate your ownership of your Visitors Book.
What happens when I claim my Visitors Book and what are the benefits?
Once you have claimed your ‘Visitors Book’, you will be able to add information about your venue to the page, change the icon image and also place an advert to attract new customers. You will also be given a unique STIKICODE to advertise at your Venue and encourage people to leave Stikinotes in your Visitors Book for friends. In addition people will be able to join your Stiki-mailing list where you will be able to send promotion to all subscribers.
What is the STIKICODE for my location used for?
Stikinotes is the Worlds Virtual Visitor Book and claiming your Visitors Book means that you have control of your book. Your unique STIKICODE is your bespoke business code for your book and your happy customers can text their Stikinote with a picture to the Stikinotes number (07860 022000) by typing in your STIKICODE followed by # ...followed by their comments. EG SN1234# Great birthday celebrations! Their Stikinote will be delivered to your Visitors Book directly. It's important to promote your STIKICODE to make it easy for your Visitors to leave Stikinotes in your book, as this is great advertising and promotion for your business.
How should I promote my STIKICODE for my location?
As part of owning a Visitors Book, Stikinotes generates an A4 poster with your Visitors Book STIKICODE already on it. Simply go to your dashboard through the ‘My Visitors Book’ button at the bottom of your page & click ‘Print Poster’. This will open up a PDF file of an A4 poster, detailing your own unique STIKICODE and explaining how your visitosr leave a Stikinote in your Visitor Book. Place these posters around your location or use them to create your own as well as placing your unique STIKICODE anywhere you wish. Remember, the more Stikicode promotions you have, the more people will see and talk about your venue. So put your STIKICODE on your cards, menus, brochures, rooms and everything that is seen by your visitors.

How do I add a Stikinote to an existing Visitors Book?
If a location already has a Visitor Book, then you can add your Stikinote to that Visitors Book by opening up the Visitors Book, click Leave s Stikinot. Type in your comment, add a photo if you wish and then login, using wither your Facebook Login or your Stikinotes account. If you are not registered then you will be prompted to ‘add using Facebook login’ or create a Stikinotes account. You can also leave your Stikinote on a business’s website or Facebook page if they have their Visitors Book button, by text as detailed above or via the Stikinotes Iphone App
How do I report offensive or inappropriate messages or images?
If every you come across a stikinote or image that is inappropriate or had abusive comments you can report it. Look for the triangle with a '!' on individual notes or for images click the 'report this note' button above the main image you wish to report. Someone will review and either remove the content or contact the owner.
What do you mean by an "expiry date"?
You may wish your Stikinote to expire after a certain period. This may be that you are highlighting an Offer that you have seen and so you want your note to expire when the offer does.
What if I experience a problem with a page?

How do I remove one of my Stikinotes?
You can easily remove a Stikinote should you decide it's become irrelevant. Simply click the 'Red X' on your stikinote.
How do I report a Visitors Book that is being abused?
If you come across a Stikinote that is owned by someone abusing the page or owning a place that you feel shouldn't please contact us directly and we will look into the claim and either close the account or remove the Visitors Book

Closing your account
How can I close my Stikinotes account?
You can close your stikinotes account by clicking on 'my profile' and then 'settings'. At the bottom of the page you will see section called 'Delete Account'. clicking the Red button will close your account and all your information and notes. Please note in doing this your account cannot be reactivated and all your information will be lost.
